Christmas Craft Book is a brilliant activity book full of 30 fun & festive projects to make with kids. It’s an absolute treasure trove of stunning, easy to make crafts that use many everyday household items. If you’re looking for fun ways to keep children of all ages busy and entertained in the days up to Christmas this is definitely the book for you.

The book starts with a contents page, an introduction and a list of tools and materials you will need. Advice on crafting with kids and safety tips are followed by the main section of the book – the activities.
There are so many fabulous activities in this book that it’s hard to choose favourites. Many include painting, gluing and sticking. We particularly love the festive story stones with their own festive bag and the Santa spotter binoculars are a brilliant idea!
Activities using fabric, pom poms and sewing range from an easy to make Christmas pudding cushion to the more complicated Santa’s Elf. We also love the no sew Christmas sweaters and the Elf and Fairy peg dolls – I loved making peg dolls when I was younger.
More unusual crafts include string snowmen (made using balloons and string), seasonal string art and copper star lights. There are also activities using natural objects including twig stars and twig tree decorations. Recipes at the end of the book include mini Christmas cake truffles and we really want to make the white chocolate crunchy snowmen.
The pages are attractive and well laid out – easy to follow instructions and colour photos lead you through every step of the process and templates for the activities are included at the end of the book. A photo of the finished project is shown along with the items that you will need. This Advent Calendar is one of our favourite crafts, it has a family photo behind each door.

My parents still have Christmas crafts that I made as a child and I still have crafts from my daughter – there’s something special about bringing them out every year. Many of these crafts are timeless and can be used as decorations year after year.
The authors of Christmas Craft Book, Laura Minter and Tia Williams, are award winning bloggers. You can find more fabulous Christmas craft ideas on their blog, Little Button Diaries.
Age Range: 3 + (with supervision!)

What a lovely craft book. I love keeping my boys Christmas crafts, they come out every year! 🙂
It’s a brilliant book! It’s fun to keep the tradition of bringing Christmas crafts out every year 🙂
This is my kind of book! Obviously we don’t do Christmas but I have kept many things my kids made for our holidays over the years.
It’s lovely to bring out children’s crafts year after year. My parents still hang up a Christmas wreath that my sister made over forty years ago!
What a fun sounding book which sounds perfect for Christmas.
We still have crafts that my girls have made over the years that we bring out every year. x
There are so many lovely crafts. Hopefully we’ll find time to make some in the next few weeks 🙂
Great book which involves reading (always a good thing) and crafts! #MMBC
It’s a really good book for beginner readers. The instructions are simple and easy to read and are supported by the photos.
What a fabulous looking book. We love doing Christmas crafts together and I’m always on the look-out for new ideas so might have to get this one! #MMBC
Your children are the perfect age for it 🙂
I have a collection of books by Laura Minter and Tia Winter and they are truly lovely. I wasn’t so keen on the first books as they were so much more parent orientated…i.e. you had to do all the work, but now they seem to provide the activities for the kids instead. You can never get enough of Christmas crafts.
Christmas crafts are so much fun! The ones in this book are really child friendly and older children can do several of them with minimal supervision.
Oh this book sounds fun! Though we have done lots of Christmas crafting over the past 2 weeks! #MMBC
Sadly we didn’t have a lot of time for Christmas crafts this year as school finished so late. It’s a great book to bring out every year though 🙂
