At school my naughty little sister admires all the decorations that the children have made and falls in love with a blue doll on the Christmas tree. Shirley Hughes’ Christmas tree is one of the most beautiful trees that we have seen in a Christmas picture book, it’s decorated with so many wonderful ornaments and presents and has real candles! We absolutely love My Naughty Little Sister and it’s fabulous to see one of our favourite stories adapted for younger readers.
