H is for How The Grinch Stole Christmas! by Dr. Seuss
How The Grinch Stole Christmas! is a great story for showing children that Christmas isn’t about presents and big feasts. The Grinch does his best to spoil Christmas for the residents of Whoville but then he learns that the meaning of Christmas isn’t exactly what he thinks it is!
The Story: The Grinch is the only inhabitant of Whoville who doesn’t like Christmas. He disguises himself as Santa Claus and steals presents and food from the townspeople. After dumping the presents he waits to hear how the townspeople react but when they start singing he realises that there is another meaning to Christmas.
