The first thing our daughter does every morning is to run downstairs to see what Christmas and Snowy are doing and which book they have brought. The first eight days on our book Advent Calendar brought snowballs, music making, bubbles, stickers, sweetie filled shoes from St. Nicholas and while Christmas wrote cards, Snowy had fun playing the game from The Jolly Christmas Postman. After sleeping all day on December 8th let’s see what they get up to between December 9th to 16th!
Snowy and Christmas joined The Fairytale Hairdresser and Father Christmas to watch fairytale characters ice skating. They also brought their hair brushes, maybe they’ll take their hats off so that Kitty Lacey can do their hair!
After reading Weihnachtskuchen für allee Snowy and Christmas decided to do some baking. What a mess, they’ve tipped sugar everywhere! Their biscuits do look yummy though 🙂
What’s The Time, Mr Wolf? Two watches and three clocks, now we know why Snowy and Christmas were baking yesterday, it’s party time! They’re waiting for Mr Wolf, does he know what time it is?
There was great excitement when we found Snowy doing the jumping dance (adumu) from Imani’s Moon. He was being watched by Christmas, a snake and an owl.
Hide and Seek with lots of Father Christmasses today. In Weihnachtsmann, wo steckst du? you have to find Father Christmas hiding on each page (like Where’s Wally?) Snowy and Christmas changed things around and hid themselves instead! Can you see them?
In Owl’s Winter Rescue Rabbit needs help when he falls into the frozen pond. Christmas and Snowy helped Owl to rescue Rabbit.
In Mr Willowby’s Christmas Tree Mr Willowby unknowingly provides Christmas trees for many animal families. Christmas, Snowy, Timm the gardener and a mouse all have Christmas trees today. Thank you Mr Willowby!
