It would be fantastic if you could download, print and display Marianne’s International Book Giving Day poster in libraries, schools, bookshops and children’s centres to publicise the day. Our aim is to encourage as many people and organisations as possible to celebrate the love of reading as well as give books to children on International Book Giving Day, 14th February. Marianne has written and illustrated many books for children which have been translated into more then 20 languages. She is the author and illustrator of the critically acclaimed The Lion and the Bird, amongst others. She was born and lives in Montreal, Quebec.
