The Story: Aliens Love Underpants is a hilarious rhyming story about aliens coming down to earth to find underpants (there aren’t any in space!). It describes the fun, races and competitions that they have with pants and elastic.
This book is hilarious, it is difficult to read it without laughing! The rhymes are very easy to read and Ben Cort’s aliens are wonderfully colourful and very cute. My daughter giggles all the way through the story and loves to pick out her favourite pants on each page. The pants humour will appeal to all young readers but it is also a really great story for me to read aloud as well.
Aliens Love Panta Claus is just as funny, in this story the aliens help Santa Claus and give underpants away instead of stealing them – it would make a great Christmas present!
Claire Freedman has written two other ‘underpants’ books – ‘Dinosaurs love Underpants’ and ‘Aliens in Underpants Save the World’ which we haven’t read yet.
Aliens Love Underpants is also in the theatre!

My boys LOVE the Underpants books, but I think any gender can’t help but giggle about these underpants rhymes! And the colorful illustrations really add to the fun.
They are very funny – Panta Claus will be under our Christmas tree!
